recommend that you pre-treat your skin for four weeks with a Skin Kit\/Program prior to your first treatment in order to prepare your skin for the active ingredients that will be used for the treatment.<\/li><li>Avoid using active ingredients 3 days before a treatment (inclu.: retinol, salicylic acid, glycolic or lactic acids and Hydroquinone)<\/li><li>Avoid sun exposure 4 weeks before a treatment.<\/li><li>Please inform the specialist performing your treatment of any changes in your medical history, recent sun exposure on the treated areas, changes in medication or new prescriptions, and any use of active ingredients prior to the treatment. These factors may present contraindications, and the treatment might need to be adjusted or rescheduled to avoid adverse reactions.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>Post-Treatment Care<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Use the appropriate post care products for 10 days after a Salicylic peel since the peel remains active in the deeper layers of the skin for 10 days\u00a0 you should use the recommended post-care products in order to avoid adverse reactions.<\/li><li>Avoid using active ingredients for 10 days\u00a0 (inclu.: retinol, salicylic acid, glycolic or lactic)<\/li><li>Avoid sun exposure for a minimum of 2 weeks after treatment.<\/li><li>Vitamin C (L\u2019Ascorbic Acid) and Hydroquinone can be applied 3-5 days after a treatment.<\/li><li>Always apply Spf and re-apply every 2 hours.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>WHAT TO EXPECT: <\/strong>It\u2019s normal to feel some tingling or a slight burning sensation after treatment. Your skin may become dry, flaky, irritated, or mildly red. A few days later, your complexion may appear dull and uneven, and in some cases, you may experience purging or breakouts. These are all temporary conditions that will subside in the following days. Depending on the type of peel, you may also experience light to significant skin peeling 3-4 days post-treatment.<\/p><p>If peeling occurs, it\u2019s important not to pull, pick, or rub the skin\u2014let it shed naturally.
