A peel is a chemical exfoliation treatment that uses AHAs to stimulate the skin’s renewal process, improving the appearance of fine lines, pigmentation, acne, tone, texture, and smoothness. Peel treatments remove superficial dead cells and debris that create dullness, uneven texture, bacteria formation, and—in turn—certain acne conditions.

Peels are non-invasive and require no recovery time. Sunscreen must be used daily, and makeup can be applied following the peel.

The Vivier Jessner Peel is a unique professional procedure that safely provides controlled exfoliation of damaged skin. The Vivier Jessner Peel treatment helps reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, laxity, acne, enlarged pores, age spots, sun damage, and melasma.
The Jessner Plus Peel solution induces a superficial peeling of the skin and is particularly effective for thick/oily/acne skin. One of the key ingredients in the Vivier Jessner Plus Peel is salicylic acid. Salicylic acid deeply penetrates the skin and removes congested sebum and dead skin cells.
After your treatment, you can return to work and regular activities right away. You may experience mild to moderate redness or flaking to the skin. We suggest an initial series of 3-6 peels (one every 2-4 weeks), and maintenance peels every 3-6 months. You will feel your skin is noticeably firmer, and your youthful glow restored.
Salicylic acids go deeper than any other acid and keep working beneath the skin for 8 to 10 days after your treatment. Our specialist will talk to you about post-care products, as well as the products to use to prepare your skin before starting a treatment. Our acne treatment protocol starts with a three-week at-home skin care routine with an acne kit, followed by six treatments, with four weeks between each peel. You will also need a post-treatment kit to use for 8 to 10 days following each treatment.Glycolic/lactic acid peels are usually combined in one treatment for an exfoliating yet calming effect. This treatment is ideal for sensitive skin types and can also treat redness. The acids exfoliate the surface of the skin, while providing a deep cleaning of the pores.
These 20-minute treatments can be performed every 2 to 3 weeks, if needed. We suggest having a treatment done at least every change of season, but they can be done every month or whenever you feel that they are needed.
