Cosmelan 2 is a home cream whose main action is the attenuation and control of facial blemishes of melanic origin. It continuously attenuates the spots and regulates the overproduction of melanin, preventing their reappearance in the long term. It is indicated to complete the depigmenting action of the cosmelan® aesthetic-professional treatment. It also improves the skin texture, enhances skin brightness and unifies the tone, resulting in a visibly rejuvenated skin.
Soothing and recovering balm that rebalances and restores comfort levels in skin after external aggressions (sunlight, waxing, shaving, friction…) or other medical/aesthetic treatments (peelings, laser…) that can cause sensitive skin, discomfort and/or redness. Reduces skin sensitivity and strengthens the skin’s defences. Re-balances the skin barrier, providing comfort, elasticity and smooth skin.
Very high factor sun protection with UVB 131 and UVA 67 colour indicated for skin with pigmentation imperfections. A depigmenting ingredient helps regulate melanin synthesis by reinforcing the preventative anti spot action. A coloured texture that provides a natural tone and softens imperfections, unifying even the skin tone. Water resistant.
The Cosmelan Peel Procedure, is done in two phases. The first phase is the in-clinic treatment application of the peel by one of our licensed Medical Aestheticians. The peel, which looks like a mask will be left on the skin for about 6-12 hours depending on the patients skin type and severity of the skin condition.The procedure takes about 45 minutes.
The second phase is to be continued at home by the patient, through the continued use of the Cosmelan home care depigmentation products. Your medical aesthetician will explain phase two in details at your appointment.
