What to expect from the treatment?
The treatment involves microneedling to deliver exosomes into the skin. The exosomes are applied to the skin, after which miniature needles are used to facilitate their penetration into the skin. To enhance patient comfort, a numbing cream may be used, though the treatment is generally well tolerated. Following the procedure, it’s crucial to avoid applying anything to the skin, including SPF, for 24-48 hours. During this time, the only products that should be used are sterile hyaluronic acid ampoules or specific post-exosome treatments.
To promote proper healing beyond the initial 48 hours, it’s recommended to use post-care products for 5-7 days. These products should focus on hydration and soothing, without active ingredients.
